  Comments "In addition to TEA and 4-AP, several selective K+ channel toxins were tested.
MCD-P (1 µM, n=4), BDS-I (100 nM, n=3), TsTx K-alpha (200 nM, n=3), MgTx (300
nM, n=3), StTx (300 nM, n=3) and AgTx (60 nM, n=3) had no effect on either the
fast or the slow K+ currents. DTX-I (250 mM, n=4) reduced the amplitude of the
slow K+ current to 84 +- 7% of the control values without affecting its
activation or inactivation curves (data not shown). DTX-I did not affect the
